Class Syllabus
Fall term runs from September through January. I recommend that you complete one assignment each month, and I plan to grade and submit points once a month, but I will accept all four assignments until May 31st. That leaves about two weeks for me to grade those assignments and for you to work on the final project, which is due June 15th.
Course Material
Lesson One: Spells and Enchantments
Lesson Two: Traits of a Duelist
Lesson Three: Famous Duelists
Lesson Four: History of Dueling
Final Project
Assignments
Each lesson will have an assignment that you can earn up to 60 points from. There is also a final project, also worth 60 points, meaning the total possible points from the class is 300. You need to earn at least 150 to get a quill. No assignments are mandatory, so pick whichever you like to get you to that 150 point total!
Assignments 1-4 are due May 31st || The final project is due June 15th
Assignment guidelines can be found here
Awards
1) Determined dueler - given to students who complete all 5 assignments
2) Stupefying student - given to the top point earner(s) from each house
Accessibility
If you rely on assistive technology or have any other needs that should be taken into account, please send me an HOL message. I am happy to provide alternatives for any assignment or portion of an assignment.
Plagiarism
All work for this class must be your own. There are several opportunities for writing assignments (don't worry, if you don't want to write there are plenty of other options). If I discover that you've turned in something you found online, you will not receive points for it.
